Eva wears an all-in-one created by The Bonnie Mob in collaboration with The Fmly Store.

THE FMLY STORE is the social enterprise created by  Selfish Mother aka Molly Gunn and it is very much a family business. Molly is assisted by her husband, Tom, a music producer, and they have been married since 2005. They work together most days as well as share childcare for their two boys, Rafferty, 6 and Fox, 4 and little daughter Liberty, born in May 2017.

I came across THE FMLY STORE via Molly’s instagram page (@Selfish Mother) which led me too the hash tag #GoodTees. This initiative created by Molly, raises funds for ace charities such as Women for Women UK, Kids Charity, Help Refugees, The Refugee Council, Starlight UK, Yazda, Save The Children and Mothers 2 Mothers. The clothing sits alongside MOTHER branded products such as candles, notebooks & tote bags and unique collaborations with the likes of The Bonnie Mob, Tiba & Marl, The Bright Company, Cheryl Rawlings and Loopy Makes.

So far THE FMLY STORE has raised over £612K  for the charities they support and their phenomenal “Save the Children, Christmas campaign has garnered celebrity endorsement, with Molly working together with Lauren Laverne, Poppy Delevingne, Adwoa Aboah and David Gandy and more! The collection has been so well received the majority of items have sold out within 48 hours HOWEVER don’t despair, join the waiting lists and if they have enough interest they will re-release selected designs and you’ll have helped raise even more money for this fantastic children’s charity.

As well as a thriving online store, THE FMLY STORE also have a bricks and mortar store, too. They opened their doors in Bruton, Somerset, UK on 30th November 2016 and So far they’ve welcomed a host of customers from near and far, as well as christened the space with parties and events, which have seen the likes of the Mother Pukka family, Katie Kirby of Hurrah for Gin and Holly Tucker MBE, founder of NotontheHighstreet.com, talk about their businesses and inspirations.

So what’s on the Silberzahn Style wish list…

Please Father Christmas, can I have one of these please? I may not feel like one, but perhaps this will be like reflective inspiration!

Silberzahn Style loves The Fmly Store

The philosophy is that style should not only look good, but do good, too. £5 from the sale of this #GoodTees design goes to MOTHERS2MOTHERS, who employ, train and empower mothers living with HIV to act as mentors in their community, helping to eradicate paediatric AIDS.

MOTHERS2MOTHERS says:

We have been avid admirers of Selfish Mother for a long time and to now call ourselves a part of the sensational movement that Molly has created, is so special. We love the fact that by buying and wearing #GOODTEES, mothers here are enabling Mentor Mothers all over sub-Saharan Africa to eliminate paediatric AIDS one mother at a time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we adore working with you.”

My son will be keeping cosy in one of these numbers. As a proud big brother, I know he’ll love this.

Some of my favourite mummy friends will be receiving one of these gems.

Silberzahn Style loves The Mother Book
